 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. GENERAL TUKUR,ESCAPES ASSASSINATION YESTERDAY IN ZARIA.

                            It was reported today sunday that yesterday saturday according to Col.Sani Usman,Acting Director,Army Public Relations said that some suspected members of a religious group attempted an attack on the convoy of Chief of Army Staff {COAS},Lt-Gen.Tukur Buratai in Zaria.Unconfirmed report said seven persons lost their lives during the incident caused by an Islamic religious sect.In a statement made available to the NAN in Abuja,he said that the group struck in the afternoon when the COAS went to pay homage to the Emir of Zazzau,Alhaji Shehu Idris.He said that the COAS also went to Zaria to attend the passing out parade of 73 Regular Recruits intake of Nigerian Army Depot,Zaria.He said in the statement that the members of the group,wielding dangerous weapons,obstructed the main road with stones and tyres.He said further that the members threw stones and dangerous objects at the convoy of the COAS,nothing that COAS was not hut.One more photo below.
