 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GENERAL TUKUR,ESCAPES ASSASSINATION YESTERDAY IN ZARIA.

                            It was reported today sunday that yesterday saturday according to Col.Sani Usman,Acting Director,Army Public Relations said that some suspected members of a religious group attempted an attack on the convoy of Chief of Army Staff {COAS},Lt-Gen.Tukur Buratai in Zaria.Unconfirmed report said seven persons lost their lives during the incident caused by an Islamic religious sect.In a statement made available to the NAN in Abuja,he said that the group struck in the afternoon when the COAS went to pay homage to the Emir of Zazzau,Alhaji Shehu Idris.He said that the COAS also went to Zaria to attend the passing out parade of 73 Regular Recruits intake of Nigerian Army Depot,Zaria.He said in the statement that the members of the group,wielding dangerous weapons,obstructed the main road with stones and tyres.He said further that the members threw stones and dangerous objects at the convoy of the COAS,nothing that COAS was not hut.One more photo below.
