 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. TWO GIRLS WEARING EXPLOSIVE VESTS,WERE SHOT DOWN BY SECURITY FORCES IN CAMEROON TODAY.

                 Today monday security forces armed guns and arrows killed two young women wearing explosive vests in a north Cameroon town,in which they are suspected to be Boko Haram members.The would be suicide bombers,described as adolescent girls,entered Kolofata just before dawn.Witnesses said ''The first suicide bomber {kamikaze} exploded near my house...When she entered,the local vigilance committee fired an arrow at her head and she set off her bomb.The other young woman was shot by special forces,known by their French initials BIR''.There were no reports of anyone else being killed or wounded in the town about 6 miles from the Nigerian border.
