DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. According to sources,a man hanged himself in front of a Chinese bank this morning after not being able to cope with losing money to telephone scams.The man,known only by his surname of Xiong,lost more than 10,000 Yuan {£1,043} when he recently became a victim of fraud in Henan Province,central China.His lifeless body was found hanging in full view of the public outside the Agricultural Bank of China in the city of Xinxiang this morning.According to the report,Mr Xiong lost the money two days ago after he received a telephone call that turned out to be a scam.He transferred more than 10,000 Yuan to the criminal behind the scam through the Agricultural bank in Xinxiang where he was found.It's understood that the money was Mr Xiong's savings which he had brought from hometown Zhoukou to Xinxiang a month ago in order to start a small business.He contacted the police and the bank as soon as he realised he had been conned.But this morning he went back to the bank and committed suicide after he was allegedly unable to cope with his loss.Mr Xiong hanged himself right outside the front doors of the bank,by the time the police had turned up to remove his body a crowd had gathered around him.One of the pictures taken at the scene show a person kneeling down in front of Mr Xiong,but it has not been reported whether or not this person is a friend or relative.Police soon removed his body from the front of the bank and are investigating the incident.One month photo below.
