 Sudan petitions African Union to overturn suspension Sudan has asked the African Union (AU) to reinstate its full membership and end the country’s suspension from participation in the bloc’s activities. Sudan ambassador’s to Uganda, Ahmed Ibrahim, said that Sudan’s suspension from the African Union had weakened African initiatives aimed at ending the war in the country and enabled external interference. “Accelerating Sudan’s return to the African family would prevent the foreign interference and, at the same time, pave the way for African solutions to African problems,” Ahmed said on Tuesday in remarks at a symposium in Kampala. “We are expecting an effective effort of Uganda as a friendly state, particularly President Yoweri Museveni, as a respected African leader, to support and realise the restoration of Sudan’s activities in the African Union,” he added, TRT Afrika reported. A MOTORCYCLIST ''MOHAMMED'' WAS SENTENCED TO 6 MONTHS FOR STEALING A CELL PHONE IN LAGOS.

                    According to sources,one 18 years old commercial motorcyclist,Mohammed Hassan has been sentenced to six months in prison for stealing a mobile phone valued at N1,500 and escaping from police custody.During his arraignment on January 6 by the police at a Lagos State Magistrate's Court in  Igbosere,Hassan pleaded guilty to committing both offences contrary to Sections 285 and 106 of the Criminal Law of Law State,2011.Prosecuting police officer,Ester Adesulu,had told th court that on January 2 at about 5:10pm,Hassan stole one Slok Phone valued at N1,500 property of one Halima Sanni,at shop 6,POWA Market,Obalende Police Barracks,Lagos.She said that two days later at about 5:30pm at Onikan Police Station,South West Ikoyi,Hassan escaped from the custody of Inspector Theresa Obasi.Hassan who hails from Jimata local government area of Adamastate,came to Lagos in October 2015 and works as commercial motor cyclist.He went to the complainant's shop to buy jean trousers but met no one there.He saw the phone,took it but was caught by the shop owner,who returned as he was leaving the place.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
