 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. THE ITALIAN NAVY,RESCUED 290 MIGRANTS & RECOVERED 6 DEAD BODIES TODAY FROM A RUBBER BOAT.

                    Today thursday,a spokesman said Italy's navy rescued 290 migrants and recovered six bodies from the water near a half-sunken rubber boat.The navy rescued 109 migrants from a large rubber boat in the morning,and then 107 from a second boat a few hours later.When the navy arrived at a third rubber craft,it was sinking.They managed to pull 74 to safety,but six bodies were recovered from the water.A navy helicopter is continuing to search for survivors.The seas route to Italy from Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.The sea route to Italy from  Africa is the most dangerous border for migrants in the world.Of the more than 3,700 migrant deaths in the Mediterranean in 2015,about 2,000 perished on the way to Italy from North Africa.One more photo below.
