A Tennessee family, and an entire community, has been left stunned and grieving after a pack of dogs took the life of a man out for a jog. When 43-year-old Marko Bursey arrived in Henning, Tennessee, to visit his parents, he had no idea that he would never be returning back to his home in Nashville. Marko could have never imagined the terrible fate that awaited him, lurking in the woods, near an abandoned school. However, Marko's horrific death has had an indelible effect on not just his loved ones but an entire community as they search for answers on how this tragedy unfolded. The recent release of the 911 call Marko made provides a window into the horror of that July morning. This father of six children had only recently arrived at his parents' home in Henning to visit with his loved ones. Today marks the official end of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.Liberia has reached 42 days with no new cases,and has just moments ago been officially declared Ebola free.The World Health Organisation and organisations like MSF have expressed their elation ,but warned that it's key to learn from the experiences of the Ebola outtbreak and above all,remain vigilant in previously affected countries.Sierra Leone and Guinea,the two other West African nations affected by the epidemic,were African nations affected by the epidemic,were declared free of the disease late last year.Two previous attempts to declare Liberia free of the virus ended when infections re-emerged.Ebola has killed more than 11,000 people since December 2013.One more photo below.
