 WOMEN GROUP ADVOCATES PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT AS POCACOV PLANS ANTI-CRIME APP  By Ruth Orji The President of the Ultimate Business Women and Farmers Association of Nigeria (UBWFAN), Mrs. Nkiru Nwagbo, has urged parents to lead anti-cultism campaigns to curb crime among children and youths.  She made the call during the launch of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) on July 30, at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, describing parental guidance as essential to nation-building. Mrs. Nwagbo observed that mothers often bear the consequences of juvenile delinquency, stressing that proper moral upbringing, discipline and Godly values remain the foundation for raising responsible and productive citizens.  She also encouraged fathers to exercise emotional intelligence and restraint during family conflicts, noting that domestic violence contributes to raising aggressive children and fuels anti-social behaviour within communities. A WOMAN WAS VICIOUSLY BITTEN IN THE MOUTH ON THURSDAY IN A PARTY BY ANOTHER WOMAN,IN SOUTHPORT.

The 26-year-old was taken to Southport Hospital immediately after the incident. Yesterday doctors spent an hour performing a skin graft at Whiston Hospital.                         According to sources,a mother of two had a large chunk of her cheek bitten off by another woman at a friends party.The woman is identified as Kate Nield and she was attacked viciously at the home in Southport,Merseyside,and had to undergo plastic surgery to repair some of the damage.The attacker was said to have become more aggressive as she drank at the party and was asked to leave.She then returned to the house and launched a violent tirade at Ms Nield ,biting her face.The 26 year old mother of two was taken to Southport Hospital immediately after the incident.Yesterday doctors spent an hour performing a skin graft at Whiston Hospital.Skin was taken from her back of her arm and was put onto the damaged part of her face,near her lips.Speaking of the incident,whgich took place on thursday night,Ms Nield told the Liverpool Echo;'She was like a raving lunatic.She bit me and took a big chunk out of my face.There was blood everywhere.My friend who was with me managed to get her off me.She clearly is that kind of girl because she has attacked me and she has bitten a big chunk out of my face.It is the sort of thing that only an animal would do.I just want everyone to know what an animal she is and that she can't get away with doing that to somebody''.Merseyside Police have yet to arrest Ms Nield's attacker.More photos below.              Pictured is the Ms Nield's cheek Kate Nield was attacked visciously at the home in Southport, Merseyside, and had to undergo plastic surgery to repair some of the damage.The attacker was said to have become more aggressive as she drank at the party and was asked to leave.
