 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. LAGOS STATE GOVT,BANS CARS FROM PARKING ON OPEBI TO ALLEN ROUND ABOUT IN IKEJA,FROM MONDAY.

                                     The Lagos State Government has banned street parking on both sides of the road from Opebi to Allen round about in Ikeja with effect from monday,8th of February 2016.A release by the State Commissioner for transport,Dr. Dayo Mobereola,directed business premises and visitors to the area to endeavour to park their vehicles within their premises or on side streets along the stretch.It warned that any violation of the order will be appropriately charged and sanctioned by the the appropriate Law enforcement agency saddled with the responsibility of ensuring compliance with this directive.The release stated further that in line with the provisions of the Lagos State Traffic Law 2012 all vehicles,including tricycles and Okada,must also abide by the restriction order.It however implored business premises in the area to ensure compliance so as to avoid the closure of their premises or sanction against their customers.The release expressed regrets for any inconvenience the action might cause residents,business owners and motorists in the area and its environ.One more photo below.
