 EFCC Arraigns Man  for  Alleged ₦55m Fraud in Lagos The Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 arraigned one Gabriel Celestine Nwawuzor, before Justice Daniel Osiagor of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos for ₦55m fraud. Nwawuzor was arraigned alongside Moonlink Pharmaceuticals Limited, on a 3-count charge bordering on fraud and money laundering to the tune of N55,000,000 (Fifty Five Million Naira) One of the counts reads: "That you Gabriel Celestine Nwawuzor and Moonlink Pharmaceuticals Limited sometime in April, 2021, in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court procured the account number 2170235882 domiciled in Zenith Bank to retain the sum of N55, 000, 000.00 ( Fifty Five Million Naira) which sum you knew forms part of the proceeds of your unlawful act and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Sections 21(a), 18(2)(d) of the of Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibitio...

LAGOS STATE GOVT,BANS CARS FROM PARKING ON OPEBI TO ALLEN ROUND ABOUT IN IKEJA,FROM MONDAY.

                                     The Lagos State Government has banned street parking on both sides of the road from Opebi to Allen round about in Ikeja with effect from monday,8th of February 2016.A release by the State Commissioner for transport,Dr. Dayo Mobereola,directed business premises and visitors to the area to endeavour to park their vehicles within their premises or on side streets along the stretch.It warned that any violation of the order will be appropriately charged and sanctioned by the the appropriate Law enforcement agency saddled with the responsibility of ensuring compliance with this directive.The release stated further that in line with the provisions of the Lagos State Traffic Law 2012 all vehicles,including tricycles and Okada,must also abide by the restriction order.It however implored business premises in the area to ensure compliance so as to avoid the closure of their premises or sanction against their customers.The release expressed regrets for any inconvenience the action might cause residents,business owners and motorists in the area and its environ.One more photo below.
