 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.              Yesterday wednesday the 24th of February 2016 at 10:30pm,one Nkiru Odili,of Omelugboma,Asaba reported at the police station that 8:00am of same date,her brother identified as Emeka Odili and his girlfriend Blessing {last name unknown} took her son identified as 3 year old Chukwuneku Adikwu from Omelugbonma to Onitsha in Anambra State to sell.Luck ran against the duo as they were subsequently arrested and the child rescued.Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had sold their own biological child earlier.Investigation is still in progress.Then on the 23rd of February,2016 at 2:30pm,acting on information,police sting operatives arrested one Musa Kusa.The suspects confessed to have stolen ten cars and sold them off to receivers in Kano and Sokoto States.He also confessed that a man in Kano State supplies him with car keys.The case is also under investigation.More photos below.
