 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. THE NIGERIAN POLICE IN WARRI,INTERCEPTED A CAR THAT WAS STOLEN FROM A WOMAN FEW DAYS AGO.

                       According to the Nigeria Police Force,on the 9th of February 2016,at 01:30pm,while the Police patrol team were on duty along Iyara by Sido Junction,Warri Delta State.They intercepted a suspected Toyota Corolla car with Registration number Lagos APP 403 BC.The occupants of the vehicle on sighting the Police patrol vehicle driving behind their vehicle jumped out of the said vehicle and took to their heels abandoning the vehicle.On searching the vehicle,a locally made pistol,one Nokia phone and an Ecobank cheque book bearing the name Unaegbu Margret were recovered.Preliminary investigation revealed that the car was snatched from the said Margaret Unaegbu on 8th February,2016 at about 07:30am,at Emeberi Road,by Eyasa Junction,Okumagba Layout,Warri.Investigation is still in progress.Meanwhile on the same 9th of February,2016 at 05:00 am,coalition of teams that responded to a distress call at Ibandan Waterside,Borikiri recovered five AK-47 rifles,six magazines and one hundred and forty-five live 7.62mm ammunition.Also recovered are two Toyota Camry vehicles with Registration number MUS 583 DF,colour ash and SMK 577 Bz,colour blue.The suspects escaped through the waterway on sighting the police.They were trailed and eventually four of the hoodlums were arrested,namely ;Francis Anderson,aged 38 year,Gift David,aged 18 years,Richard Toria,aged 23 years and Barikwa Godspower,aged 32 years,all of no fixed address,and investigation is in progress.The Nigerian Police should keep up the good work.One more photo below.
