 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND RE-NAMED A NEW RAILWAY PROJECT TO HER NAME,TO MARK HER 90TH BIRTHDAY.

               Today the Queen of England visited the Crossrail site at Bond Street where she met with engineers,construction workers,Transport for London staff and apprentices to hear about the project.Whilst there,The Queen unveiled a plaque to mark Crossrail  1's naming as the ''Elizabeth Line'',a celebration of Her Majesty's 90th year.Crossrail is a new metro rail line that will run for 118km from Reading and Heathrow in the west,through new tunnels under Central London,to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.Opening in 2018,it will carry an estimated 200 million passengers a year.Congrats to her and The Queen looks so elegant in Purple.More photos below.
