 EFCC Arraigns Three Indians,  Nigerian  for Alleged Criminal Breach of Trust The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  on Wednesday,  December 17, 2025 arraigned three Indians,  Lalit Sarwat, Ravi Raghavendra and Gagan Sarswat—alongside an Ilorin-based dispatch manager, Oniyide Samuel, before  Justice Sulaiman Akanbi of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin They were arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal breach of trust, contrary to and punishable under Sections 97 and 314 of the Penal Code. The Commission alleged that the defendants, while being servants in the employment of KAM Steel Integrated Company Limited, conspired among themselves between November 2024 and September 2025 to commit criminal breach of trust. ABOUT 14 DEAD,OVER 70 PEOPLE INJURED TODAY,AFTER INDIA KOLKATA FLYOVER,COLLAPSED.

                      According to sources,at 14 people are dead,many people are feared trapped under the concrete and steel bridge which fell on a busy road today in India.Images show residents using their bare hands to help the rescue effort.The accident took place in an area near Girish Park,one of Kolkata's most densely populated neighbourhoods,with narrow lanes,shops and houses built close together.The 1.2 mile floyover has been under construction since 2009 and missed several deadlines for completion.At least 70 injured have been taken to the hospital and the army and national disaster agency in India have joined the rescue operation,which has been hampered by difficulties in getting ambulance and other vehicles close to the site.Some eye witnesses said every night,hundreds of labourers would build the flyover and they would cook and sleep near the site by day.India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi,who is in Washington for an official visit,tweeted that he was ''Shocked and saddened.My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives in Kolkata.May the injured recover at the earliest''.More photos below.
