 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. AFTER A HOT PURSUIT,THE NIGERIAN POLICE IN BENUE ARRESTED SOME HOODLUMS & RECOVERED SOME GUNS.

                 On the 1st of March,2016 at 9pm,upon information received that some hoodlums has concluded plans to rob unsuspecting motorists along Gboko/Buruku Road Benue State on the 1st of March by 7aam,the Police operatives positioned themselves strategically and at about 8am of date,the hoodlums arrived and four suspects were immediately arrested by personnel after a hot pursuit by police.Items recovered include,one Toyota Corolla car,one AK-47 rifle,four rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,one locally made pistol and three rounds of 9mm ammunition.Information indicates that the gang is behind the current robberies in Buruku axis.Investigation is still in progress.One more photo below.
