 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. FIFA NEW PRESIDENT ARRIVED SOUTH SUDAN TODAY,WHICH COINCIDED WITH HIS BIRTHDAY.

                       I just got a report that Fifa's new President Gianni Infantino is in South Sudan on his first international trip since taking over as the head of the world football organization last month.The trip also coincides with his birthday,and he plans to celebrate it by watching the world youngest nation play against Benin in an African Cup of Nations' qualifier.Gianni Infantino arrived in Juba today morning,where he opened the office of the South Sudanese Football Association.The FIFA chief is expected to meet South Sudan's President Salva Kiir later before attending the country's AFCON qualifier duel against Benin.South Sudanese officials dressed Infantino in traditional regalia and made him dance.The FIFA president was also presented with a cake by his hosts to celebrate his 46th birthday.More photos below.
