 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). GOVERNOR AMBODE APPROVES THE EMPLOYMENT OF 1,200 TEACHERS YESTERDAY.

                      Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the employment of  1,200 primary school teachers in order to boost the manpower capacity in the State Primary education system.The Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education {SUBEB},Dr Ganiyu Oluremi Sopeyin,who disclosed this in his office today,said that the gesture was part of ongoing efforts of the current administration to improve the quality of education.He explained that successful candidates were selected from a transparent examination process of international standard in order to select the best candidates.While congratulation successful candidates who would be joining other teachers,the SUBEB boss urged them to reciprocate government's good gesture by putting in their best in the State Public Service.He said that the Service has a rewarding system which will compensate them for their hard work,dedication and honesty,hence the need for them to prove their mettle to be recognised.Successful candidates,who had earlier been sent SMS messages,were advised to collect their letter of employment from SUBEB office in Maryland.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
