 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. INEC POSTPONED ELECTION IN 4 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS TODAY,IN RIVERS STATE RERUN ELECTION.

                                  According to sources INEC has postponed in Bonny,Khana,Gokana,Andoni Local Government Areas.Initial reports had suggested that there was violence in the area,where a soldier reportedly shot a voter in the chest,although he did not die.The election in that local government area has been postponed and a date for a rerun is yet to be announced.The Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC} accredited no fewer that 2,537,590 voters for the ongoing election rerun in Rivers state.The election is scheduled to hold across 23 Local Government Area {LGA},319 wards and 4,442 Polling Units of the state.One more photo below.
