 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion.                                                        Ex-MBGN Queen Omowunmi Akinnifesi graced the cover of Allure-Vanguard that hit the stands yesterday sunday and she looks so elegant.She is a businesswoman and Environmental Ambassador for Lagos state.29 year old Omowunmi in 2005 won the Most Beautiful Girl Title and she is a graduate from the University of Lagos where she studied Geography and Regional planning.She also holds a Master's degree in Environmental Modelling,Monitoring and Management from King's College,London.From all the questions they asked her,i was most concerned about her new clothing line.The magazine asked her ''You recently launched the Omowunmi Clothing line,could you tell us a bit about it?,she replied ''The Omowunmi clothing is ready to wear brand for women with social lifestlye.About 70% of our garments can be worm from day to night.An Omowunmi woman is one who leaves her home on a busy day for the office or entrepreneurial duties and may have a conference,lunch with friends,a meeting at the office,dinner with friends or even a party after a long day.One outfit can be worn for many occasions and she doesn't have to go home to change what she went out with in the morning.We have our first collection and would be releasing our second collection soon.We stock at various stores in the country.Our clothing can be found at the Polo Avenue for now''.She was asked ''What is the inspiration behind the line?.She replied ''The first collection consisted of clothing in pinks,reds,blacks and whites with inspiration gathered for city living hence,we called it ''The Urban Movement:Define your own path''.Urban is anything fresh new and vibrant while constantly evolving and in movement.We wanted people to feel the vibe of the collection.Our campaign photos show girls jumping,happy and in movement,while still being playful.Some other photos showed serious minded women who are still trendy and urbane.We also included Define your own path  because we want women to be themselves and portray the strength in them.It is okay to be a family woman and still be busy,it's okay to be an intellectual,it's okay to have substance and it's okay to be an Omowunmi woman.Then the magazine further asked ''Who is your focus market?,She replied ''Our focus mrket is for the woman with a social lifestyle.A woman who knows who she is and is not afraid to walk the journey destined for her.For now,we target just women but we hope to do men's line later''.More photos below.
