 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. CONGOLESE MUSICIAN ''PAPA WEMBA'',COLLAPSED & DIED TODAY ON STAGE IN IVORY COAST.{PHOTOS}.

                             According to a spokeman for the Ivosep morgue in Abidjan,who said Congolese musician Papa Wemba died after collapsing on stage in Ivory Coast in the early hours of today sunday morning.He was performing at the FEMUA 2016 festival when he collapsed on stage.He died before reaching the hospital.He was know in the Democratic Republic of Congo as the King of Rumba Rock.Wmba who was born in JUNE 1949,died at the age of 66-67 years.More photos below.
