A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.                  Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary,who was born on the 21st of April 1926,celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday thursday in Windsor.The streets of Windsor were packed with members of the public hoping to catch a glimpse of the Queen on her big birthday.The Queen was greeted by several rounds of Happy Birthday as she made her way around the historic town,one of which came as she cut her Birthday cake!.The picture above showed the Queen with Nadiya Hussain,winner of the Great British Bake Off,who baked a cake for her,during a walkabout close to Windsor Castle in Berkshire as she celebrates her 90th birthday.More photos below.
