 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. LAGOS STATE TO BUILD A WORLD CLASS MEDICAL PARK,IN 20 MONTHS.

                     The Lagos State Government today wednesday announced plans to commence the construction of world class Medical Park under a Public Private Partnership {PPP} arrangement,just as it restated its commitment to improve healthcare experience and promote medical tourism and excellent healthcare services of international standard in the State.The State's Commissioner for Health,Dr. Jide Idris who disclosed this while briefing Government House Correspondents after the weekly State Executive Council Meeting,said the project has already been awarded to MEDIPARK International Limited Consortium which comprises of MEDIPARK International Limited,Cleveland Clinics Ohio USA,St Barnabas Healthcare System New Jersey and American Hospital Management Company Washington DC.iDRIS,who briefed journalists alongside the Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Mr Steve Ayorinde and Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development,Mr Wasiu Anifowose,said the project would be completed in 20 months,and that it would gulp about N49 billion,while the State Government would only provide the land and the market.One more photo below.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
