 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. OBASANJO ADVISED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TODAY,NOT TO REVIVE NIGERIAN NATIONAL SHIPPING LINE.

                        Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo today monday gave the advice in Lagos in his address as Chairman of a two-day stakeholder's conference on the maritime industry.The formal president blamed the demise of the Nigerian National Shipping Line {NNSL}.H said ''NNSL had been liquidated,they tried Nigeria Unity Line,it collapsed.Nineteen brand new ships were specially built for Nigeria,e did not take delivery of some of them until i left office in 1979.When i came back in 1999,NNSL had been liquidated with all the 19 ships gone as well as the five ships in existence.two of the ships were missing for almost two years and it was discovered that one military man was using them all over the world and no accountability''.The former president urged the present administration to ''think out of the box and come up with what should be done to grow the maritime industry.Until NIMASA became a source of where people steal money,nobody knew too much about it.Before we tried to privatise Nigerian Ports Authority,I went to Singapore where you get your container within one hour of arriving the port.If we cannot perform like Singapore,we have to do better than what we are doing now''.One more photo below.
