 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.                              Yesterday monday night,President Buhari hosted members of the National Assembly and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress to a dinner.The occasion was also used to smooth the working relationship between the executive and the legislative.President Buhari urge the Senates to hasten the passage of 5 critical bills which will help domesticate agreements signed with other countries,Bill to prevent and prohibition of money laundering Act,the FCT appropriation Act and also the statutory budget of National Assembly commission.Along with the 30 critical bills on their legislative agenda,all these bills once passed and signed into law will improve the standard of living and help rebuild our economy so that Nigerians cab feel the impact of the government at all levels.More photos below.
