 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. A TRUCK DRIVER WAS SENTENCED TO 2 YEARS YESTERDAY,FOR FAILING TO MAKE WAY FOR MUGABE'S MOTORCADE IN ZIMBABWE.

                       According to sources,a Zimbabwe truck driver was sentenced to two years in prison for failing to make way for President Robert Mugabe's motorcade.The truck driver is identified as Joseph Chakantesa was also banned for life from driving trucks by a Harare Court yesterday thursday,which charged him with negligent driving and ignoring Presidential convoy.The incident took place on saturday when the Presidents motorcade of more than 10 cars and motorbikes was heading to President's home in uptown Harare.the 28 year old driver was arrested about 10 kilometres from the scene of the incident after attempting to escape by driving through traffic lights and at times in wrong lanes.Joseph Chakanetsa said that the ERF tipper truck was making a lot of noise,making it difficult for him to hear external noises.He was also given an option to pay $100 fine for failing to stop and a $200 fine for ignoring the officers instruction.One more photo below.
