 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). ABOUT 10 PEOPLE DIED,33 INJURED IN A BUS CRASH YESTERDAY IN MEXICO.

                 According to Mexican authorities,yesterday friday,about 10 people were killed and 33 others injured when a bus collided with a tractor-trailer near Ciudad Juarez.The bus ran into the truck from behind shortly after 5 a.m,in which some minors died.Among those injured was the bus driver,identified only as a 58 year old male,is being interrogated by the police and still in their custody.The bus was en route from Torreon to Ciudad Juarez,a metropolis just across the Rio Grande from El Paso,Texas.Several of the injured are listed in critical condition at various hospitals in Ciudad Juarez.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
