 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BOKO HARAM KILLED 18 MOURNERS IN A FUNERAL YESTERDAY NIGHT IN ADAMAWA STATE.

                  The attack occurred late yesterday thursday night in Madagali area of Adamawa state near Sambisa forest,where they killed 18 mourners including many women and children.A witness who insisted on anonymity said ''They stormed our village on motorbikes and immediately opened fire on the people observing the wake''.Other witness said at least 10 people were injured and were rushed to a health facility in the nearby town of Gulak.Police spokesman Othman Abubakar confirmed early reports that 18 people were killed and warned the toll could rise.Lawmaker Adamu Kamale,who represents the region in the House of Representatives,said most of the dead were women and children.He said ''There was pandemonium during which many people scampered for their lives'''.One more photo below.
