Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. The EFCC,on June 13,2016 arraigned Etoh Oluwabukola {aka Mobolaji Johnson} before Justice Lewis Allagoa of the Federal High Court Owerri,Imo State,on an eight-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N1,044,000 {One Million and Forty-four Thousand Naira}.Oluwabukola belongs to a syndicate of fraudsters that operated seven different accountd with different banks,using fictitious names,and non-existent addresses,with the sole aim of using the said accounts to conceal their fraudulent activities.
