 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. KOGI STATE GOVERNOR 'BELLO',RENAMES THEIR STATE UNIVERSITY TO 'PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY TODAY.

                 Today friday,Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state renamed the Kogi State University Ayangba after the late Governor Prince Abubakar Audu.Bello said that naming the university was the ultimate honour that could be done to the memory of the late politician who ruled the state twice as the civilian governor from 1991 to 1993 and 1999 to 2003.Audu himself established the university in 2001 and named it Prince Abubakar Audo University but his successor,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris changed the name to Kogi State University in 2004.He said today that ''Today and as always,i celebrate the life and times of Prince Abubakar Audu,the first Executive Governor of Kogi state.It is our hope that those who want to lay claim to his legacy will at least develop the same heart for the growth and development of Kogi State that he demonstrated through his lifetime''.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
