 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RESIDENT DOCTORS,SUSPENDED IT'S NATIONWIDE STRIKE TODAY.

                 According to the President of the National Association of Resident Doctors {NARD},Dr Mohammad Askira,made the discosure today saturday in Abuja while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the association's National Executive Council meeting held yesterday friday.He said that the strike was suspended to enable the federal government implement the agreement reached with the association on or before July 14,adding that the doctors would resume work on July 27,He said that the meeting also resolved to review the progress of government intervention at the next NEC meeting of the association scheduled for July 25 to 30 in Keffi for appropriation action.Askira expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for his promise to implement all the agreement reached between the association and the government.He commended the president for directing the Minister of Health to resolve the impasse in the best interest of Nigerians.One more photo below
