 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                           On wednesday 25th May 2016 the president of the Nigeria Bar of Association Augustine Alegeh {SAN} and the members of NBA National Exco inaugurated the Nigeria Police Lawyers Forum at Transcorp Hilton Abuja.At the inauguration,the NBA President swore in the officers and the council members of the Police Lawyers Forum.On the same date,the Inspector General of Police IGP Solomon E. Arase fdc,NPM treated the members of the Forum,NBA EXCO,some retired members of the forum and some serving senior police officers to a dinner and award night at AES Luxury Hotel Jabi Abuja.More photos below.
