 ‎‎NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION ‎ The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges.  ‎ ‎A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters  and two H-125 helicopters. ‎ The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. ‎ ‎The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, described the acquisition as another significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained investment in the modernization and re-equipment of the NAF noting that the new pl...

PHOTOS FROM THE ON-GOING CONSTRUCTION OF ABULE EGBA AND AJAH FLY OVERS.

             On-going construction of Abule Egba,Ajah fly overs in an efforts to address traffic congestion in major parts of the state.The Lagos State Executive Council under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in December last year approved the construction of flyover for two of the State's high density traffic zones-Ajah round about and Abule Egba junction.The two major projects shortly after approval were duly awarded to contractors for a speedy commencement of work.in Ajah,the constructionof the reinforced concrete flyover and signalized intersection at Ajah roundabout is being simultaneaously constructed with the rehabilitation of Freedom Road in Lekki,with a view to reducing the heavy traffic being recorded at the Ajah round-about and the Lekki-Ikoyi axis.Likewise,the construction of a reinforced concrete dual carriage flyover bridge at Abule Egba junction will equally bring joy and relief to millions of commuters that use the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ifako-Ijaye Local Government Area of the State on a daily basis when completed.So far,work is going locations so as to meet up with the 16 months timeline for the delivery of both projects as shown in the pictures below. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
