 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. POLICE IN GHANA,WERE GIVEN 10 DAYS TO CAPTURE 2 CRIMINALS,WHO ESCAPED FROM A POLICE STATION ON SUNDAY.

                        Police officers in Ghana have been given 10 days to capture 2 criminals identified as Abdulai Alhassan and Faisal Mohammed who escaped while in police custody.The convicts escaped through the police station celling on sunday evening by 1pm.The two were supposed to appear before the court on monday morning after they were arrested for murder and stealing respectively.Police Commander in charge of the Tumu Disttrict ASP William Ayensu Asare said ''We have given them 10 working days after which if we don't find them we will look at other measures''.
