 South Africa says US misrepresented its policies after visa curbs South Africa's foreign ministry said on Wednesday that it ‌had noted with concern U.S. visa restrictions on some people from South Africa announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio a day earlier. The foreign ministry added in a statement that ⁠the U.S. announcement aligned with "the mischaracterisation of South Africa's domestic policies by fringe groups". "We maintain that challenges in our bilateral relations with the USA can only be resolved by constructive engagement through state actors on both sides of the diplomatic channel not unilateral acts," the statement said, Reuters reported. Trump has repeatedly criticized ‌South ⁠Africa since the start of his second term for what he falsely claims is the racial persecution of its white minority, citing affirmative action laws aimed at ⁠addressing the inequality that has persisted since apartheid. POLICE IN GHANA,WERE GIVEN 10 DAYS TO CAPTURE 2 CRIMINALS,WHO ESCAPED FROM A POLICE STATION ON SUNDAY.

                        Police officers in Ghana have been given 10 days to capture 2 criminals identified as Abdulai Alhassan and Faisal Mohammed who escaped while in police custody.The convicts escaped through the police station celling on sunday evening by 1pm.The two were supposed to appear before the court on monday morning after they were arrested for murder and stealing respectively.Police Commander in charge of the Tumu Disttrict ASP William Ayensu Asare said ''We have given them 10 working days after which if we don't find them we will look at other measures''.
