 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. THE SENATE RECEIVED THE FINAL REPORT TODAY,ON THE BILL TO ESTABLISH THE NORTH EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION.

                According to the Senate President of Nigeria Bukola Saraki who took to his social media to announce that ''I am pleased to announce that today the senate received the Final Report of the Senate Committee on Special Duties on the Bill to Establish the North East Development Commission {NEDC}.The reports contains the observations of a wide group of stakeholders on the modalities that should be considered in the set of the commission.Additionally,the Senate also passed a Motion paying homage to Nigeria's former National team coaches:Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu.Both men were legends in their own rights,and they contributed immensely to the development of sports in Nigeria.In this regard,the Senate has nominated a delegation to condole with the families of the deceased.One more photo below.
