 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. EX-BURUNDI MINISTER 'HAFSA MOSSI',SHOT DEAD TODAY BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN.{PHOTOS}.

                            According to CCTV,former Burundi's East African Community {EAC} Minister Hon Hafsa Mossi was shot dead by unknown assailants today wednesday morning outside her home in Eastern Mutanga in Bujumbura.A close relative said ''She was near her home and a tinted car knocked her from behind,she went out to see what happened and was shot twice''.Ms Mossi played a crucial role in Burundi's integration into the EAC and was the current chair of the East African Legislative Assembly Burundi chapter.Mossi is the first Burundi East African Community minister and had been conducting sensitization workshops with the East African Legislative Assembly {EALA} Burundi chapter with different stakeholders at the grassroots level on the benefits of the East African Integration to Burundi.Mossi's killing is part of targeted killings of top government officers by unknown armed groups in the East African nation.Over 500 people have been killed and thousands have fled the civil war in Burundi since it began a year ago.May her soul rest in peace,Amen.
