 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Idris,NPM,mni,accompanied by the the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service {NIS},Muhammad Babandede,Comptroller General of the Nigerian Prisons Service {NPS},Ahmed Ja'afar and Commandant General,Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps {NSCDC},Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu..On July 16,2016 paid an official visit too Borno State where he presented food and other relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons {IDPs} at Muna Garage,they were also provided with Police medical services.The IGP used the occasion to pay courtesy call on Borno State governor,His excellency,Gov.Kashim Shettima,the Shehu of Borno,Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai and the Military Officers at Mai Malari Barracks where he was received by the Theatre Commander,Major General Leo Irabor.On the IGP's entourage were the DIG Operations.DID Joshak Abila and other Senior Police officers.More photos below.
