A Tennessee family, and an entire community, has been left stunned and grieving after a pack of dogs took the life of a man out for a jog. When 43-year-old Marko Bursey arrived in Henning, Tennessee, to visit his parents, he had no idea that he would never be returning back to his home in Nashville. Marko could have never imagined the terrible fate that awaited him, lurking in the woods, near an abandoned school. However, Marko's horrific death has had an indelible effect on not just his loved ones but an entire community as they search for answers on how this tragedy unfolded. The recent release of the 911 call Marko made provides a window into the horror of that July morning. This father of six children had only recently arrived at his parents' home in Henning to visit with his loved ones. The news i just received is that South African Paralympian Oscar Pistorus has today wednesday been sentenced to six years in prison for the 2013 murder of his girlfriend Reeva Stenkamp.The state and a large section of the public had called for the 29 year old to be handed no less than the minimum 15 year term as prescribed by the law,saying he had shown no remorse for the killing.The athlete was found guilty of murdering Steenkamp by an appeals court last December.He has initially received a five year sentence for manslaughter in 2014,a ruling dismissed by women's groups as too lenient.Though after today's sentence alot of people went on social media and started saying that Oscar Pistorus deserves more than 6 years.One more photo below.
