 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.                                 Aisha Wakil,a Nigerian lawyer declared wanted by the military on Sunday,is currently at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.Ms. Wakil is amongst three persons declared wanted by the Nigerian Army on sunday for alleged ties to Boko Haram.The three have maintained that they were not on the run and faulted the decision of the Army to declare them wanted,Ms Wakil told Premium Times she arrived at the Defence Headquarters moments ago,but was not immediately taken in for interrogation.Ms Wakil said front desk officers asked her what she wanted and she told them she was declared wanted yesterday.But the officers said they were not aware of such and she asked them to read the newspapers online.''They told me they will go and read and get back to me,'' Ms Wakil said .A few minutes later,a supervisor entered the reception to collect Ms Wskil's passport and told her he'll return 10 minutes later.The spokesman of the Nigerian Army,Sani Usman,confirmed to Premium Times that Mrs Wakil had submitted herself.''I have been reliably informed that she has reported at the Defence Headquarters and she has been directed to the Directorate of Military Intelligence'',Mr Usman said.The two other people declared wanted also say they were contacted earlier.They have also offered to make themselves available for questioning.
