 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state. THE MEMBERS OF THE ''BRING BACK OUR GIRLS'' CAMPAIGN WERE STOPPED TODAY FROM ENTERING ASO ROCK.{PHOTOS}.

                    According to PM news,an attempt by the members of the #BringBackOurGirls group to march to Aso Rock was halted today monday by a combined force of policemen and officials of the Department of State Security {DSS}.The marchers who had planned to march to Aso Rock and deliver a message to President Muhammadu Buhari to act swiftly to save the more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram in 2014 and believed to be hidden in Sambisa Forest,were halted at the Independence Avenue Abuja.The group had declared a 14-day line up of activities to make the Buhari administration act quickly to rescue the girls,sat on the road and played protest music after the police stopped them.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
