 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. A MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS BOSS IN AJAH LAST MONTH,HAVE BEEN ARRESTED BY THE POLICE.{PHOTO}.

     According to sources,the Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Tanko Abdulateef,a 22 year old house guard who allegedly killed his employer,Mrs Mabel Mba Okafor in Ajah area of Lagos,last month.The suspect was alleged to have killed her boss in Ajah on the 17 of August,2016.The suspect,who was arrested from his hiding in Bali,Taraba State,was said to have stabbed the victim in the stomach and left her stomach ripped open.It was also gathered that the suspect took away valuable items from the victim including three phones,trinket and a lot of cloths,all of which were recovered from him.When contacted,Public Relation Officer of the State Command of the Nigerian Police,Dolapo Badmos confirmed the arrest,adding that the suspect would be charged to court after conclusion of investigation.
