 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS SET TO REPAIR ENUGU-ONITSHA EXPRESSWAY.{READ}.

Image result for enugu -onitsha expressway                     Normally,it takes approximately an hour and thirty minutes to drive from Onitsha in Anambra State to Enugu,but presently,it takes more than four hours of torture according to sources to move from one end to the other.The government is considering awarding the reconstruction of the dual carriageway project to a competent construction firm under the Public Private Partnership,PPP,scheme and a reliable source who spoke to its correspondent revealed that the process to give the highway a face lift began at a meeting which recently held in Awka,the Anambra State capital,between the Minister of Works,Power and Housing,Mr Babbatunde Fashola and the Governor of Anambra State Dr Wilie Obiano in Awka.Mr Fashola while expressing concerns over the deplorable state of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway,it was learnt that he decided that Obiano should search for a very competent and reliable construction firm that can see to the rehabilitation works for possible approval.
