 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.                          According to sources,this man above covered looking like a statue was caught stealing Electrical Cables and wiring and he was beaten to a pulp by some angry residents in the Oba Area of Anambra State.Sources wrote ''This guy was caught stealing cables used for wiring our house last night in Oba in Anambra state.He was caught by the Hausa security man on guard,and beaten to a pulp by the whole community.I had to rush and call the police as I noticed they were about setting him ablaze''.More photos below.
