 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. OGIDI CHIEF PRIEST THREATENS TO INVOKE 39 ORACLES AGAINST OPPOSITION TO ANAMBRA MONARCH'S ELECTION.{PHOTO}.

                       According to sources,the Chief Priest of Iwelle Ogidi Shrine in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State,Chief Felix Obika,has threatened to invoke 36 Oracles against anybody that will oppose the election of the new traditionnal ruler of Ogidi,Chief Alex Onyido.Obika said that 39 shrines were behind the election of the traditional ruler-elect.This is coming on the heels of warning by 92 year old Traditional Prime Minister {Onowu Iyasele} and second in command to the throne of Atani Community,Chief Daniel Uyenne's of the consequences of opposing the traditional ruler of Atani,his Royal Highness,Igwe Augustine Ngodi.Chief Uyanne spoke when the traditional ruler and members of his cabinet visited him following his inability to participate in affairs of the town due to old age and visual challenges.He used the occasion to offer special prayers for Igwe Ngodi and his own Regent {Onye Uko } Mr Chizoba Uyanne and warned against any opposition to the monarch.According to Oobika,'39 oracles are behind him and they are waiting for their 39 goats that will be killed to appease the gods for making the conduct of the election free,fair and transparent''.
