 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. President-elect Donald Trump and current President Barack Obama and an hour-long meeting at the White House on Wednesday morning                Though a lot of countries are frowning to Donald Trump's win but at the end his still the president elect and he was spotted with President Obama today and they talked for 90 minutes in the Oval Office while their wives visited separately.A public display of unity intended to the citizens of the United States to help digest the shocking results of tuesday's presidential election.The President elect Donald Trump called Obama a very good man.He said ''Very good man,I very much look forward to dealing with the president in the future,including counsel.He explained some of the difficulties some of the high flying assets,some of the really great things that have been achieved.The sitting president stressed that his top priority was ensure our president elect is successful.I have been very encouraged by the interest in President-elect Trump to work with my team around many of the issues that this great country faces and I believe that it is important for all regardless of party and regardless of political preferences to now come together,work together to deal with the many challenges we face,' he said.The private drive is inaccessible to media,and reporters were disallowed from covering the historic greeting between the incoming and outgoing first families.More photos below.
