 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.  Image result for british charity worker jailed in india                                                According to sources a British woman identified as 28 year old old Narges Ashtari,from Exeter,who set up the Prishan Foundation after she moved to India and built an orphanage for girls and a home for blind children in the eastern state of Odisha.She was sentenced  to a year in jail for the killing of a boy who vanished during a picnic.Sources said one of the employees claimed their son diappeared during a picnic and although a body was never found Narges was charged with manslaughter.At an apparently routine court hearing this morning the charity worker was suddenly jailed for one year anf fined 300,000 rupees {£3,500} for the alleged killing.Sources further said she was released on bail and that she is inconsolable but she intends to fight the accusations on appeal.Nawahoo charity turned to another thing.More photos below
