Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun,today thursday,joined other leaders and stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress {APC},in the South West geo-political zone for a crucial meeting at the Government House,Agodi,Ibadan,Oyo State.Addressing Journalists after the closed door meeting,which lasted for over four hours,former Governor of Ogun State and one of the leaders of the party,Chief Olusegun Osoba disclosed that ''in the South West zone of APC,there is unity of purpose''.While revealing that the leadership of party is one,Chief Osoba disclosed that South West leaders of the APC ave decided to re-assert themselves as the leader of the progressives in the country for the betterment of Nigeria.Chief Osofa further informed that the meting critically examined issues affecting the South West geopolitical zone and resolved that moving forward,there will be constant consultation with South West Governors for the development of the region.''We have reviewed all the issues after due consultations with all our National Assembly members and leaders at the party level and we have agreed to work in unison,'' Chief Osoba said.Other governors at the meeting include Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode,Lagos; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola,Osun State and the host Governor,Senator Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.Also present at the meeting were the National Leader of the Party,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,former interim National Chairman of the party and former Governor of Osun State,Chief Bisi Akande,former Governor of Ogun State,Chief Olusegun Osoba,former Governor of Osun SState,Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola,Senate Chief Whip,Senator Olusola Adeyeye and Majority Leader of the House of Representatives,Hon,Femi Gbajabiamila.Others include the Minister of Information and Culture,Alhaji Lai Muhammed,his Finance,Solid Minerals,Communications and Power,Works and Housing counterparts,Mrs Kemi Adeosun,Dr. Kayode Fayemi,Barrister Adebayo Shittu and Mr. Babatunde Fashola respectively.
