 Trump announces Hamas disarmament and Israeli troop withdrawal agreement under Gaza ceasefire plan   President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Hamas has agreed to a plan to disarm and that Israel will withdraw its forces from Gaza as part of a U.S.-backed ceasefire framework. Trump described the agreement as a major step toward creating a new Palestinian government in Gaza that would work with the newly established Board of Peace to oversee the next stages of the plan. The president said the agreement would also provide Israel with increased security by preventing Gaza from being used as a launching point for future attacks. Details of the agreement were limited, and neither Israel nor Hamas immediately released statements responding to Trump’s announcement. The Board of Peace said Hamas had agreed to a roadmap for moving forward with the next phases of the ceasefire after months of negotiations. Oguji of the State High Court sitting in Awka,Anambra State,on a four count charge bordering on Conspiracy and Stealing.
First City Momument Bank had petitioned the Commission that they received report from one of their customers,Girls Secondary School,Awka,over an unauthorized web trabsfer of over N10 million on their account with the bank.The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to them.In view of their plea,the prosecution counsel,M. T. Iko asked the court to fix a date for the commencement of trial and urged the court to remand the defendants in prison custody.However,the defense counsel,J.N. Okongwu asked for a short date to file his bail application.The case was adjourned to 22 March and 4,9 May,2017 for trail.The defendant are to be remanded in prison custody pending the determination of their bail.
