 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. SOLDIERS THAT MOLESTED A PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSON AT ONITSHA FOR WEARING A CAMOUFLAGE,HAVE BEEN ARRESTED.-ARMY.{PHOTOS}.

  Image result for soldiers molested a physically challenged person for wearing a camouflage              The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a video clip in which two soldiers were seen maltreating a physically challenged person for allegedly wearing a camouflage shirt.We wish to inform the public that the incident took place on tuesday 7th February 2017,at Onitsha,Anambra State.
In line with our zero tolerance for acts of indiscipline and unprofessional conducts especially in relation to violation of human rights,we wish to further state that the soldiers involved have since been identified and apprehended.
They have also been charged for assault by their Commanding Officer.
Similarly,troops have been warned to desist from such acts that infringe on human rights and cast serious aspersions on the good image of the Nigerian Army.
