 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Image result for efcc                 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,on February 13,2017 secured the conviction of Olugbenga Fanbunmi,who was arraigned before Justice Mamman Kolo of the Federal Capital Territory,FCT High Court on one-count charge bordering on advance fee fraud.Fanbunmi,who holds a diploma from the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,Ogun State,is a member of a syndicate that specializes in forging bank statements,employment records,international passports,national identification card,and supporting documents need to process visas for the United Kingdom.
His nefarious activities date back to 2005 during which he mastered the art of forging documents for ''abusive visa applications''.Between 2007 and 2016 he helped to forge bank statements as part of documents to process UK visa for 11 people.He had succeeded in helping 15 people obtain visas to travel to the UK where they were forced into prostitution.He pleaded ''guilty'' to the charge on February 9,2017.Based on his plea,Justice Kolo,convicted him of the charge and sentenced him to four years in prison.
