 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Image may contain: 7 people, people standing                As the Lagos State Government joined the rest of the world to mark the year 2017 International Women's day celebration,the Deputy Governor,Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule has called on women from all walks of life to unite together and speak with one voice that all forms of discrimination,domestic violence and gender inequality against women be stopped with immediate effect.Adebule noted that the annual International Women's Day celebration by the United Nations is in recognition of the important roles that women play in the political,social and economic development of the society,adding that in spite of all barriers being faced in the society,women over the years have broken the walls of limitation to be highly successful in their chosen careers.Adebule wwho described the theme for the year 2017 International Women's Day Celebration,''BE BOLD FOR CHANGE'' as relevant and instructive,stated that it is a clarion call for women to unite,come together and take bold and pragmatic steps to accelerate gender parity and fight all forms of discrimination that have hindered women development.''We all work in synergy to ensure all girls have access to free,equitable and quality education.our unity of purpose must be to help all women to end all forms of discrimination,assault,buse,trafficking,and harmful practicess such as early and forced marriages'',Adebule advised.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
