 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. LAGOS HOST ONDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON FINANCE AND APPROPRIATION TODAY & TOMORROW.

No automatic alt text available.                     Lagos State government,through its Public Procurement Agency,will today thursday 27th and tomorrow Friday 28th April,2017 host delegates from the Ondo State House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation on a two day visit to understudy the operational modalities of the State Public Procurement Law 2015,Laws of Lagos State in order to replicate same in Ondo.According to the General Manager of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Mr Fatai Onafowole,the Ondo State team will comprise of members of the Finance and Appropriation Committee,selected staff of the Project and Price Monitoring Unit and Ondo State Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project {ODPSGRDP}.Mr Onafowote further stated that the visit would enable the House of Assembly members acquire necessary knowledge of the operations and benefits of the Public Procurement law in a sub-National economy as well as issues relevant to the Legislative processes.He added that the Ondo State delegates will also visit the Lagos State House of Assembly as well as observe presentation sessions on the Agency's operations,achievements and challenges scheduled to hold today thursday,.27th April,2017.The delegates will subsequently visit the State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure as well as the Ministry of Housing on Friday 28th April,for exchange of ideas and views on procurement processes and implementation strategies.
