 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. FIRE RAZED DOWN SHOPS IN LAGOS ISLAND TODAY MORNING.

Image result for FIRE                 According to sources who just sent in this story that today tuesday around 2am {midnight}.,shops belonging to some clothe sellers in Lagos Island have been razed by fire,witnesses have said.The incident occurred around Broad Street,behind UBA House,Lagos Island.Sources claimed that the the fire started from a nearby electricity transformer,and spread into shops.Traders at the scene were seen wailing and counting their losses.
